My sister, Karen, has pointed out that I always say "... and everything" after almost everything I say. I don't know exactly where I picked this up and I don't know exactly why I say it, but all I know is that I can't seem to break myself of this habbit. The other day I came across this quote by Leo Tolstoy "Everything I understand, I understand because I love." No, I don't read a lot of Tolstoy, but it made me think of my very own little "catch phrase."
After reading the quote a second and third time, I realized that it kind of summed me up. Through my life I have learned a lot of things from school and books, but the things I remember most are the things that I have learned from my loved ones. So, thank you Daddy for teaching me the value of a dollar and how to work hard to get it. Thank you Momma for teaching me how to be a good momma, to never stop trying new things, and how to play pickle ball. Thank you Karen for teaching me how to be an unconditional, loving friend, and how to make cream cheese squares. Thank you Janna for being a great example of organization and teaching me to blog. Thank you Chuck for teaching me to be a better judge of other people's character. And thank you Katherine for teaching me patience and for making me slow down and really enjoy the little things of life.
The great thing about this realization is that even though I am out of school, I still have so many opportunities to learn Life's lessons.

Glad to see you finally posted something! I know exactly where you got that phrase from --- MOM! Listen to her for about one minute, and anytime she needs to end a statement or fill a silent gap, she says "and everything." It always makes me laugh when I'm on the phone with her, and you do too! I love y'all so much. Hey, what's a cream cheese square? Next blog step, add pictures!!!
Love you,
jp
Hey girl!
I finally found your blog. It helps when you read the URL correctly. I don't have my own blog yet, though I've been thinking about it. Some of my friends are really into it.
I'm with Janna. I really thought you would have pictures of Katherine on your blog.
I'll keep checking in to see any updates.
We should talk soon. Lots of new stuff happening here in "The Land of the Bland."
Aloha from Hawaii: Your Mom and Dad have really raised you girls right!!! We all in Hawaii love y'all too very, very much....and everything. Looking forward to seeing all of you in September.
